“I’d start the day slowly with a cup of filter coffee with my wife in our Potts Point apartment. If it’s a Saturday, I’d make my way to the Kings Cross Markets to grab something to eat. I love the bacon and egg rolls there – no frills. Another coffee from Primary to follow, perhaps a flat white this time. Then a morning walk through the Botanic Gardens, and maybe even Art Gallery of NSW – the view of Murakami’s sculptures always brightens my day. Lunch would be at Gaku Robata Grill. Their ramen is unreal. I’d go for an afternoon swim at Nielsen Park to soak up some sun. And since we’re staying in the holiday mood, a slow dinner at Sean’s and look out at the North Bondi ocean.”

“Wake up in one of the suites at Paramount House Hotel. Grab a coffee at PCP downstairs or A.P. House upstairs. Zip to Parami for a matcha and Onigiri, then B-Line straight to Tamarama Beach for a surf and a swim. Visit Love Ryan’s Ceramics studio at Mackenzie’s Bay and throw some clay. Lime Bike from there to Sonar Music Studios in Moore Park and work on some music. Walk over to the Cricketer’s Arms for a pint. Stroll next door for an early dinner at Sang by Mabasa, then Paski for a wine. Lime Bike to Capybara for a sauna and ice bath. Then, round to Covent Garden Hotel for karaoke. Stop by Mango Coco for a Mango Sticky Rice. Then end up at Space Mountain for a boogie and drop some records on Sydney’s best-kept secret sound system.”

“I love waking up nice and early to start with a big run around the Harbour, usually with a friend and then finish with coffee at Parami. Then I’ll head to a class at Studio Mouvoir (of course), followed by a quick bite to eat at A.P. House, before I spend the day teaching at Mouvoir. One of my favourite things to do after a big day of teaching and movement is to head to Capybara to unwind and recover. Lunch usually is light and nourishing, with something like a SWITCH or ROOM10 salad and sandwich. And at night I love something fun and vibey with mates like Alberto’s or Bella Brutta, because nothing is better than a big bowl of pasta or pizza and some wine after a big day!”

“Wake up to some kisses from my beautiful partner Alex, and enjoy a morning chat over a hot batch brew. Walk across the street to A.P. House and grab coffee #2 and a cheesy Vegemite snack before walking up to Oxford Street and jumping on the 333 to Tamarama. Once in Tama, I’ll walk down towards the beach and stop at My Flowerman for my third instalment of caffeine, before arriving at my pottery studio. The morning is filled with creating, swimming and catching up with my community. As lunch rolls around, I’ll fire up the BBQ and cook lunch for all that are there, listen to some tunes and roast in the sun to help digest. Back on the tools for a few hours now that I’m all charged up… One last swim in the sea and maybe a cold lager before I close up the studio and head back to the city. It couldn’t hurt to grab a cold one at the Hollywood with some mates, walking to Chinatown for dinner. The options are endless in that part of town, but I can’t go wrong at Boon Luck Cafe on Pitt Street. Day’s almost over, but it wouldn’t be a perfect day without a foot massage at Nice and Relaxing Thai Massage. It’s open late, so you don’t have to rush through dinner. I guess my perfect day is filled with food, friends, fun and foot rubs :)”
